First blog (again)

So here I go, my first ever attempt at writing a blog. I figured I should explain myself first, so you know why I am doing this to myself and others. Most of the time it will be me trying to force my thoughts of music and everything else I come up with on you( the three or so readers I will have). To the few friends that will read this, most of you have always heard me telling you of this band or this person you should to listen too. Plus most of the time, I have let friends and loved ones know how much I think that a band or a singer is a “no talent ass clown”. So I figured that I should put my money where my mouth is and at least write something to let others tell their opinion to me, and of course hear mine. Plus at other times you will get the luxury of me writing about life, sports (since I work in sports), and other random crap I come across.

I am in no way an expert or have listened to everything out there, I love music and have came to the conclusion that the editor of the Rolling Stone isn’t going to call me and give me that dream job of partying with rock stars and flying around the world for the Rolling Stone (even though he does owe me for putting the Jonas Brothers on the cover of my favorite magazine). So I have figured this is the best way to have a creative outlet, and hopefully turn on the few that read this to other things or let them hear my sarcastic opinion on stuff. I figured I would have some polls up each week to hear from my few readers. Plus I will give you my random top five each week. So I think my first topic for next week will be my loving wife buying me my first iPod for Christmas. So thanks for stopping by and I will see you next Tuesday.

(On a side note you will probably ask yourself where I got the title. It is from the movie High Fidelity. Here is the full dialogue from the scene…..”What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?”)
